I visited from Tokyo, Sepia was highly recommended to me, I was not disappointed Great place to learn about speciality coffee! They have some of the best beans in town. I tried the Ratnagiri Estate, Peaberry and Ethiopian. Both were great! I bought the Ethiopian, and enjoy it everyday on cold drip. Notes are prefect Sometimes on a rainy day I make a pour-over, the acidity is great Highly recommend for coffee lovers

The best Iced Mocha ever. This place is the "Gem of Detroit". It is the very epitome of cool. The coffee is exceptional. Very friendly people, food is superb and the location is easy to get to. Plenty of parking on the street. Rustic and cool interior. I love this place.

Was visiting from Dallas for work. Chose to come by because of the ethos of the shop. Then I saw the reviews, and it was done. The staff was very friendly and open. The cafe had a part factory/part coffee shop look and feel, which I loved. Industry meets The Earth, y’know? I had the Sepia roast, and it was light yet bold. Totally held its own. The taste was smooth. It was so damn good, I decided to buy a bag. I had a savory scone and chocolate chip cookie too, and yeah- everything was delicious. Coming here was a total jackpot. I’ve been home for over two weeks now, and I have to get another bag (ordering online).

This Black-owned neighborhood coffee is so good. I visited before to try a few months ago but I visited recently with my mom who is a coffee connoisseur. Our iced mocha coffee is top notch just enough chocolate but not overpowering the coffee. The atmosphere is clean, open and airy. Will be back!

Cool vibe, friendly service and worth going to even if it's off the beaten path. Very reasonable drip coffee price and it tasted great. I also bought the Abdo Aba Mecha Ethiopian coffee beans and the taste of the coffee from it after I ground the beans for pour-over was amazing! Definitely Top 10 beans I've ever had. And I now live in the Minneapolis area and have traveled all around the world. Coffee beans are my drink souvenir wherever I go.
